So, as a thank you for helping move house after the male half managed to land himself in hospital, Mavis & Caroline had a barbie. We all had a fantastic time & drank Mavis' entire supply of port. Much kudos and many thanks go to both of them.

Yes, I took my camera.

'did someone say port?' 'well, yes, but would you believe you could get a whole bottle in this glass?' 'that's ok, dear, you can have some of mine.' I was thinking about Brookside when I saw the patio I was also wondering about the previous occupants chalking pagan symbols on the bit where these guys are sat. Cthulu was obviously waiting for his moment
and as he devours the others, two poor people witness the might of the elder demon. the other mugs for the camera. aha! someone has found the dead cat! and it gets passed around in feeble attempts to hide from the camera although, it obviously works better for some people than others... ...much better
I'm thinking that this is a school yearbook photo, although the expression suggests that the cat isn't, in fact, quite as dead as we thought ...can you see who it is yet? the beard is admired... ...and then compared to a purple puppet.
The barbie was a bit of a success, despite Canada fixations, and seeing as loads of people wanted it, my veggie burger recipe is here.
